UPDATE: Twitter was 100% reliable at SXSWi this year. -- The Industry Standard
At SXSW Interactive last year, Twitter was the darling of the conference, and experienced explosive, viral growth as a result. This was welcome news after several months of only modest increases in user signups, and Twitter has continued its impressive growth.
Ever since, however, Twitter has also been the subject of numerous high profile and well-documented service disruptions, mostly around high-traffic events such as the Super Bowl and the Democratic primary debates. The most recent outage was just this past weekend at the Future of Web Apps conference.
This year, Twitter is poised is fix these problems heading into the very event that spawned it success in the first place. Allen Stern has more on what Biz and team are doing in preparation.
This prediction will be judged at the end of the SXSW Interactive conference, on March 11th at 11:59 p.m. CT (note that this is Central time, as SXSWi takes place in Austin, TX.)

Have to say, Twitter has been rock solid.
I don't think this is being correctly judged:

On the 11th they registered a 99.93% uptime (not 100%)
