David - I think you should re-word this to be more Android-ish. I am not an iPhone fanboy, but what Google is trying to do is be the Microsoft Windows of the PC world. They provide the software OS for a hardware spec. I think you have a good prediction idea, but it might be a bit better with a slight change.

Just realize of course that they all pale in comparison to Nokia. Even RIM is a better seller, as is MSFT Mobile. But I do like this challenge.
I'd be happy to push this prediction if it were reworded to indicate that there may be many variations of the 'google-phone', and that the prediction is pitting Google's mobile strategy against Apple's. Also if the #1 selling gadget clause is important, i would define it a little more clearly and submit it as a separate prediction. I do like the apple mobile platform vs google mobile platform prediction though, nice one David, I hope it comes up.
