This prediction is closed and has been judged.

Hulu has built a lot of buzz about its TV programming and shorts from Saturday Night Live and other popular shows, but it also needs to build a following for its online movie service. Hulu claimed 100 full-length feature films on the service in mid-March (http://blog.hulu.com/2008/3/12/welcome-to-hulu); The Standard predicts it will double that number by mid-May. The criteria for this prediction coming true are a public announcement of 200 or more feature-length films on Hulu.com before May 15, 2008, or the number of publicly viewable, full-length feature films in the movies area of the site (http://www.hulu.com/movies) will total 200 or more by that date. This prediction will close approximately one week before the judgement date, or when an announcement is made, or when the number of films crosses the stated threshhold, whichever comes first. I count 110 with T-minus eight days?

Actually, the betting closes on May 08, but according to the prediction judgment will occur on May 15 (unless it happens sooner).

Thanks, Eric. I caught that right after I posted the comment and hoped, insufficiently, no one would call me on it.

This prediction has been judged. While Hulu does have just over 200 feature films in its catalogue (as of May 14, 2008), only 109 of them are full-length versions.
