Nasdaq Internet stocks dip, recover in morning trading

The Nasdaq Internet Index dipped Tuesday morning, but had recovered to its starting level by midmorning. The index, which includes Google, eBay, Akamai, Netflix, Priceline, Baidu, and 68 other Internet-related stocks, was hovering around 95, compared to approximately 106 on October 1.

The Nasdaq Internet Index does not include Apple (AAPL) or Microsoft (MSFT) both of which were down about 2% about 90 minutes after the opening bell.
