My intent with the

My intent with the suggestion was a gaming system that Nintendo thinks of as part of the DS line, presumably with a "DS" name. I didn't even know what the DS stood for until just now (according to Wikipedia, both "Dual Screen" and "Developers' System", incidently).

If Nintendo released an updated handheld gaming system using a GameBoy name (and not one using the DS name) I would consider this prediction to have failed. If they release a single-screen system with a DS name I would consider it a success.

Does a successor Gameboy

Does a successor Gameboy (hand held) have to be dual-screen? Is that specifically part of the prediction? What if Nintendo releases a new Gameboy sans dual-screens?

Nintendo announces new DS at E3

It's been 2 years since Nintendo released the DS Lite and 4 years since the original DS handheld console.

Will Nintendo announce a successor DS at E3 (July 11-13th in Los Angeles)?

This prediction will be set to close a week before the convention. It will be judged at the earliest when Nintendo announces a new version of the DS handheld gaming console or after the end of E3.
